An original scrubbed pine top table dating from the Victorian Era, a really good & solid piece featuring a drawer in the end, everybody wants a drawer! This has the original brass cup handle too, lovely stuff. The table base has been handpainted in, Arles, & English Yellow by Annie Sloan ( with a teeny hint of gold ) to give a smooth but painterly looking finish; Decoupage has been added to the Drawer Front & distressed for a vintage feel; & the wooden areas restored with careful sanding to bring out the stunning original patina, to finish I have oiled with Danish oil to replenish the wood. I would love to eat my breakfast at this, ideally sat in front of a picture window in an old cottage by the sea! Or alternatively if you don't have the sea view, perhaps this could work great in a petite country kitchen for tea & toast. I would say it seats 1 but at a push you could put 2 chairs around this, otherwise, use as an extra quirky worktop in a freestanding kitchen. in excellent condition, this table will have been used many times before therefore please expect some signs of characterful wear or as I prefer like to say rustic charm & pleased to say there are no wobbles, this table is very heavy too which is a sign of good quality. The dimensions of the table are as follows; Height 77cm Depth 68cm Width 50cm Height of the kneehole 57cm IMPORTANT; We haven't shown a delivery cost at this stage because it does vary depending on location, however the cost can be roughly estimated at £40 to Mainland UK. Alternatively, you are very welcome to come & collect from my home in Leicestershire if preferred.
