Vintage Letterpress Linotype Janson typeface specimen sheet, Printed on a good weight paper, this fold out poster promotes Janson with examples of the type in different point sizes, & information on the history & design of this typeface. When folded in to quarter size, the cover displays a red decorative block with the letter J centered within it. When opened in to half, the two next pages discus Anton Janson who designed this font face & the history of this face; a character count list; a synopsis of the characters in the fount. The back cover shows various borders available to use with this font. When fully open, the sheet shows all the different sizes of fonts. This is in very good conditions considering the age with clean edges & corners & only very light smudges on the four-sheet side; light grubby marks on the front & back pages when folded in four ~ a beautiful example. Will make a beautiful display for anyone interested in typography, letterpress printing, or graphic design.
