A beautiful vintage French pillowcase made from a lovely floppy linen that has been handmade & embroidered. It measures total78cm x81cm & the enclosure for the pillow measures 67cm x68cm. It has small mother of pearl buttons to close it along it's width & hand made ladder stitch around the sides. The hand stitching is amazingly neat & precise. The hand embroidered monogram which is in one corner is an H with either a D or an A ( depending on which way up it reads). It has hand stitched inserts made for a ribbon - which I have shown in the photos( ribbon not included ). So you can choose a colour that is right for you. Laundered & in excellent condition.
