This brown mountain bear is looking very happy as he catches a fish for his tea! I've hand printed this cheerful drinks coaster using a design from one of my original silk paintings (see Photo 6). Available as either a single coaster OR as a coaster set (choose from the variations under the title) - an ideal gift for any bear lover or wildlife enthusiast! I originally painted this design onto silk, but have here used my special printer (the one that is stuffed into the workspace corner of my living room!) to transfer the design onto the coaster. I've painted my happy bear in brown against a background of fresh green. Mugs are also available to match & in mug & coaster box sets - just have a look in my shop. The coaster measures 10 x 10 cm - that's 3.9 x 3.9 The coaster is of a 'melamine type material' This means that it is hard wearing & will not peel - it is also heat proof for mugs straight from the microwave! Under the melamine top is a tempered hard board - this means that the coaster cannot soak up water - so NO ugly fluffy corners - so it remains looking perfect!!
