Such a sweet & attractive pair of art deco amber pressed glass candlesticks, in a beautiful butterfly design, by the English glass maker, Sowerby. These would surely grace any bedroom dressing table, or living room display. They would also make the perfect gift! This pair of amber glass candle holders features a charming design, consisting of butterfly wings on each side, with leaves & flower petals as the detail decorating the base. They are in a matt glass finish. The Sowerby candlesticks are in very good condition. One chip off the base of one of the candlesticks, as photographed.There are no makers' marks to be seen, but they are easily recognisable as the classic Sowerby design. The candle sticks measure 4 inches, or 10.5 cm across the base & stand 3 inches, or 7.5cm, tall. The price is for a pair of candlesticks.
