This is a fine example of a Royal Albert china, featuring Tom Kitten, in their Beatrix Potter range. This sweet nursery plate would surely be the perfect gift, or wonderful addition to a Beatrix Potter collection! The plate is finished in a highly polished, shiny creamy white glaze. It features the sad little Tom Kitten with his Mother, who is about to repair his torn trousers! Around the plate are two banners for Tom Kitten & Beatrix Potter, as well as an owl reading Squirrel Nutkin, & a tiny mouse reading Two Bad Mice! The illustrations are true to the Beatrix Potter books. This plate is in very good condition. It measures nearly 8 inches, or 20cm, across.
