Description: A Poole Pottery hand painted lidded preserve jar from the Bokhara range designed by Robert Jefferson. The jar is shape number 654 in the colours OA A (Sepia & Lilac) as shown on page 114 of the Poole Pottery by Hayward & Atterbury. Identifying Marks / Makers Marks: Marked on the base as shown in the photograph. Age / date of manufacture: 1964. Size: Measures 5 1/4 (13.5 cm) tall (measured to the top of the lid) & is 3 1/8 (just under 8 cm) in diameter across the rim. Measures 4 (10.25 cm) wide at the widest point. Condition: in excellent undamaged condition. So...
