These fabulous earrings were handcrafted in Mexico. This is traditional Aztec design of a stylized Quetzalcoatl, the feathered serpent. Crushed Turquoise enamel was set into the Quetzalcoatl design using overlay technique which really enhances the curves & flow. The earrings are slightly concave which gives them a nice shape & catches the light as they move. These earrings are silver plated. The shade of turquoise may vary slightly as they are all individually handcrafted. These earrings are approximately 1 3/4" inches Long x 1 1/4" inches Wide. If you've got any questions don't hesitate to ask me. They come gift wrapped in an organza pouch. This is part of a collection of jewellery that I make with Mexican artisans. Inspired by my mum's collection from the 80's when she bought & sold Mexican jewellery on her London market stall.
