Vintage Condiment or Cruet Set on a Silver Plate Stand Set is complete with salt, pepper & mustard (with spoon). All in very good condition, but I can't give maker's name. The silver plate stand is marked 'JG & S' - the 'J' is worn & a letter follows the 'S' but is worn down. However, this could be from makers John Grinsell of Birmingham, but I can't match that exact mark. There is also a number '456' beneath the EPNS mark. The pots are ceramic with simple but effective floral designs. The tops look to be a mixture of brass & a white metal. The spoon is unmarked but could be silver plated. The set includes a pepper shaker a mustard pot with spoon & a salt cellar or salt dip. As well as the mustard spoon, I will also supply another spoon for the salt cellar. So, a nice condiment set dating from late Victorian to early Edwardian, but a bit of a mystery.
