This is a late Victorian / Edwardian Sheet Music Cabinet or Office document chest. Nice quality & in very good original condition. The cabinet is made in solid walnut & of panelled construction, standing on small bun feet. It has 10 shallow drawers, each with their original handles, finely cut hardwood linings & hinged drawer fronts. As the drawers are pulled forward, the fronts drop down to reveal trays with shaped fronts to allow easy access for sheet music or document files.
