The door panels have been carefully designed with stepped, round arched tops, which finish flush within their frames, & the casing around each of the drawers & doors & door panels have all been given beaded edges to add outline & definition to their shape. A very nice touch of quality & craftsmanship. The lower moulding & the bracket feet are all original The planked top is in very good order. There is a groove along the back for displaying plates. The inlaid escutcheons are boxwood & the brass knobs are original. The cupboard doors retain their original iron locks. There are no keys but the doors close well & grip the framework securely when closed. Super colour & patina throughout. Dressers are just the most useful & versatile pieces of furniture. They can take centre stage in a town house drawing room or sit comfortably in the back ground of a cottage or farmhouse.
