Description

I made a series of tiny vases using stoneware clay. These vases were made in a technique called off the hump throwing where I would place a large ball of clay on the pottery shell & start centering the upper part of it & shaping a vase. once it's done I would wire the vase off & proceed to the next one. When the vases got leather hard I've trimmed them & fired in the kiln. After the first firing vases are cleaned, glazed & fired again. the vases look great as decorative pieces by themselves, but they have glaze on the inside, & will hold water. So they are properly functioning pieces. Every item is one of a kind, & you will receive the vase you see in the main picture. Vase height in this series varies between 1-2.5 Ceramic Vase, Bud Vase, Tiny Miniature Stoneware Small Bottle, Mini Flower Vase
