Younger Danish style teak extending table for sale. A beautifully designed & crafted extending 'Fonseca' draw leaf dining table. Designed by John Herbert & Made in England by A. Younger, this table features a fantastic design & it's been built to the highest standards & all parts run smoothly. When closed it measures 129x80cm. Younger were renowned for there high quality workmanship & mainly retailed through Heals. Featuring elegantly tapering, solid afromosia legs with a stunning teak & afromosia veneered top. The beautiful warm glow of the wood paired with the combination of angular & curved lines really make this a stunning set of dining furniture. The table can then be extended using two segments, that can be used separately. With one segment in place it measures 170x80cm & comfortably accommodates 6 people. When fully extended, it measures 210x80cm & accommodates up to 8 people. All my items are professionally restored, however, as with all vintage items some wear marks should be expected.
