Featuring a desk with pigeon holes & a drop down hutch door, two matching base cabinets with sliding teak doors each with a removeable/adjustable glass shelf, a further teak glass fronted cabinet with sliding glass shelf & finally a book shelf with removeable shelf perfect for your LP/Vinyl collection. Also included are three full depth shelves & one half depth shelf. Truly an icon of British mid century design, these modular system cabinets can be moved to any configuration to suit your needs & preferences. in total five Teak cabinets with four shelves & four full size freestanding metal ladder supports. Additional add-ons & expansions can be added at a later date, if you are looking for anything in particular, do drop me a line. Excellent vintage condition, everything is complete & original except the desk is missing its key. Even the shelf supports are original. Each cabinet has the Staples label. All the locking nuts that secure the cabinets to the ladders are present which so often go astray (make sure you insist on them being present as they help maintain the structural integrity of the system when assembled). Everything has been checked & all the wood has been professionally cleaned & treated to restore its shine but with a sympathetic eye to retain the lovely aged patina. CONDITION REPORT Fully checked & restored & now in excellent vintage condition all ready to go into a room. This set is in remarkable original condition with no major marks or damage. There is a small mark to the top right glass faced cabinet on the left elevation but these cannot really be seen when the unit is assembled. There is some differential fading to one of the shelves where the sun has cast a shadow through the ladder support (please see photograph). I personally think it gives it a unique character & I decided not to sand it down & re-stain it to match. The 4 free standing ladders are in excellent condition no major marks or chips to the metal which is quite rare. All the locking nuts are present.
