A stunning vintage table altar with a Holy Water font & a candle holder to each side. The wooden crucifix is mounted on a sturdy base, the candle holders are set at the front corners. The body of Christ is gilded, with a small INRI plaque above & a gilded font below. Above the font is a plaque which reads 'CREDO' (I believe). Height: 38.5cm (15). Width: 23.5cm (9). Depth: 8cm (3). Weight: 1.082Kg (6lb 6oz). A large & impressive piece, perfect for the home altar or simply as religious home dcor. The crucifix slots securely into the base above the 'Credo' plaque & can be removed for transport or storage. in lovely vintage condition, with some wear to the gilt. (The rosary shown in the photos is not included but is simply to give a sense of scale.)
