Includes a hanging loop stitched to the green velvet reverse. 55 x 45cm Arpilleras or cuadros are three dimensional hand-sewn appliqu embroideries, illustrating in meticulous detail the stories of the lives of the women of Peru who create them. Our arpilleras are made entirely by hand by a small cooperative of women in Lima from their homes & around their own schedules, providing essential income for their families.
