Not sure of wood but seen these called bamboo . Has nice thick wood base & looks Sisal rope wrapped around neck. Measures 23 tall, top outside diameter is 5 & bottom diameter is 7. Body bulge has around 9 diameter. Nice weight at 2 pound 10 oz. in good preowned condition for age & use. Looks like some straw left inside & sounds like a piece of wood rattling around inside.
