VERY RARE ANTIQUE FRENCH ALABASTER & ORMOLU CEILING LIGHT, CHANDELIER WITH LEOPARD HEAD MOUNTS 1900 This antique French alabaster light fitting is of a very high quality in very good condition & has very good vintage wiring in good working order. They are renowned for the gorgeous coloured & diffused light they emit & it is in solid veined & deeply coloured alabaster [see photos]. It has superb high quality bronze Leopards heads that carry the chain fittings at the canopy. It has three electrical bulb fittings, & the chains are matching gilt bronze with detailed castings. It measures 38cms (15ins) in total height, & the alabaster is 36cms (14 ins) in diameter. This is a classic & very rare antique French Alabaster & ormolu light chandelier from the 1900s. & would make a charming addition for any period or contemporary setting.
