Boujad rug or Boujaad rug is woven at the edge of the Middle Atlas mountains, & made of naturel virgin wool, often decorated with colored materials such as vegetable dye or threads. This vintage morocco rug tends to feature pinks, purples , reds, oranges... with irregular geometric patterns & designs that reflect the whim of the weaver. Boujad vintage rug is a really wonderful piece of 'folk' art that tell a tale of the lives for the women who make them. This moroccan rug is handknotted with natural wool with cotton in the base. Durable carpet thanks to incredible skills of the weaver. in very good vintage conditions. As vintage can vary in age, please be aware that vintage items may have previously be use & may show some signs of use. Some missing piles (the last photo).
