Modern pottery dishes covered with a beautiful black matte glaze that has shiny spots & tiny white dots. When there are more of them, the dish may look a bit glossy, when there are less of them - more matte. It is hard to control the amount of dots on the dish because the glaze is applied by hands with the help of a brush, so in one case there can be more dots, in others less. But both ways look just beautiful & unique. The shape of the dishes is not sharp, one side of the plate/bowl may be a bit higher than the other, also the shape may not be perfectly round. All these small imperfections happen in noncommercial handmade work & allow you to feel every touch of our hands-on dish. All our pottery is handmade from start to finish by the two of us, fired two times in our magic kilns, & glazed at our small & lovely studio. We seek to be environmentally friendly with packaging.
