The sugar bowl measures approximately 4 tall, 4.5 wide at widest point on body, 4.5 diameter at opening, while the creamer measures 5 long from spout to handle, 4 tall from base to tip of spout, 3.5 wide at widest point on body. The lid of the creamer has a shallow line where I am pointing with pen. I can place my fingernail in the line but everything is stable. See pictures with zoom.
