Huronia Pottery Ltd was founded by Tom Hrcek, a Czech immigrant who had worked at Blue Mountain Pottery as a mold maker. Located 21 miles west of Collingwood, in Meaford, Ontario Canada. Huronia closed in the mid 1970's. Huronia is known for their unique REFLOW flame glaze technique, commonly found as a vertical flame stripe as compared to horizontal applications of other potteries. Reflow can be found in blue & black, caramel/gold & brown, red & orange. This vase measures 11.5 tall, approximately 6 wide at widest point.
