These handmade, wheel thrown pottery mugs are perfect for a hot cup of tea or coffee. The glaze pattern blends together a turquoise green with a soft yellow, giving these mugs a nice, clean, simple spring feel. These mugs are being sold separately, but can be bought together as a set. These mugs were hand thrown using white porcelain stoneware clay. They were thrown on a potters wheel, then trimmed & the handles added. After being bisque fired, 3 different glazes were applied, then the pieces were glaze fired, where temperatures reach over 2000 degrees Fahrenheit. These pottery mugs were made at my studio, West Side Clay in New York, NY. These mugs are dishwasher, stove & microwave safe. They are safe to use with food. The mugs you will receive are the exact same pieces that are in the photos for this listing. Also, the yellow glaze is a new studio glaze & this was my first time using it!
