Description
This is a vintage solid brass candelabra or candle holder with two candle cups made for taper candles. The candelabra is shaped like a scrolling grapevine. A large grape leaf on the candelabra serves as a dish for small candies, potpourri, etc. The candelabra has an aged-darkened patina. The candelabra is made of two pieces that are attached with a screw. The candelabra likely dates from the 1950s to 1960s. Condition: Good vintage condition with overall darkening & specking to the patina due to age, & green oxidation in the crevices. There is some pitting to the surface of the brass. The large brass leaf is a separate piece that is held in place with a small screw. in spite of my best attempts to tighten the screw, the piece with the large leaf can be wiggled back & forth when attached to the piece with the candle cups. Dimensions: Approximately 4 inches high by 17 inches wide by 7 inches deep.
