With its elegant & curved outline this Scandi designed, handmade ceramic vase captures the essence of graceful movement. They are inspired by the natural beauty of flowers & plants that I see around me in the Kent countryside & give the vase a sense of rhythm, complimenting the form of the vase itself. The vase is ideal for a bouquet or bunch of flowers, arranged in a modern, relaxed fashion. Its opens outwards at the top which is ideal for allowing flowers to naturally drape outwards. The vase would make an perfect accent to any space & be a wonderful gift to anyone who appreciates flowers. The vase is hand thrown on my pottery wheel in my studio in Kent, UK. Following its biscuit firing, a waterproof, transparent glaze is applied & fired to stoneware temperatures. They are then placed in a further box with compostable chips for transit. Occasionally I use other packaging in order to reuse it & avoid sending it to landfill.
