A magnificent vintage Edinburgh crystal whisky tumbler or vase ( hubby would use it for whisky , me ..a vase !) from 1955. Measuring 7 cm rim , base 6.2 cm , ht 8 cm & quite heavy , solid it has two swiling thistles etched & a lattice work at the foot. It has the 1955 base stamp Made in Edinburgh Scotland with the Edinburgh in italics. I would say this was unused , & a second ir not first quality as it has a few air bubbles & although it rings nicely when tapped I note a small scratch of 0.2 cm on the rim .
