French vintage Martres Tolosanes hand decorated & fired cup & saucer, in brilliant blue against white. Characteristic ceramic design for the area in the south of France, with the ibis bird featured on the side of the cup. Both pieces are in excellent vintage condition, with some wear on the rims. There are manufacturing marks on the bottom of the cup & plate. Measurements: the cup is 5cm tall, & 9cm across; the plate is 15.5cm across. Hand wash only. It is difficult to determine exactly the age of these pieces, I estimate somewhere from before 1940s. Photo props are not included. A few words about shipping, returns, exchanges, cancellations... Currently there are some countries where I am not able to ship to, that includes countries in a state of war, Great Britain, & Germany. I do ship to the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, & countries in the European Union. If you have a question if I ship to your country, please send me a convo. I make a lot of effort to point out any features & potential faults of the items I sell. All items are sold as is. They all have little faults which in case of vintage just adds to their charm in my opinion. You will get a confirmation of your order as soon as the order is placed. Your purchase is shipped within 3-5 working days after payment has cleared my account. I pack your order securely, taking care to protect it from damage in transport, & ship it from France via La Poste/Colissimo which means that it can take up to 2 weeks for Europe or 3-4 weeks to arrive elsewhere. I am not responsible for any delivery or customs delays or additional costs - all import taxes / customs are the responsibility of the client - in accordance with the requirements of the country of destination. I calculate the shipping costs as carefully as possible. I choose the least expensive option. This shipping comes with tracking, but no insurance. But if you prefer/require priority post or additional contents insurance to cover the value of your item - please notify me in advance - this can be arranged for you at the additional cost price & added to your order before checkout/payment. If you pay more for shipping that it ends up costing, I refund you the difference. If your item arrives in damaged packaging or if you are unhappy with the condition in which you receive your parcel - please do not open the package. Either obtain a declaration/proof from the delivery person or take it, unopened, to your local post office. This will facilitate a claim - especially if you have taken out additional insurance.
