This rocking chair is a real gem rescued from a garage here in St. Louis that had been stored in the rafters for decades. It's absolutely amazing in its present primitive state. I gave it a very long bath so it's pretty clean now. It could use some more detail cleaning & oiling up. I'm leaving it up to the buyer as you may want to do some painting or something decorative with it. Its in primitive condition with lots of imperfections that add great character! I took lots of photos, so be sure snd check them out for condition. It's a rare antique & old ones rarely come up anymore in this fantastic useable condition. It's amazingly sturdy & the reed seat Is incredibly strong. It's approx 35 at the tallest point, 27 at the deepest point being the rails. The seat is approx 15-16 inches off the floor considering the depth of the center of the reed seat & to where the reeds attach to the side rails. I'm 6' 2 & it's very comfy, even for me at 170 pounds!! It's better for someone a bit shorter though!!
