These beakers are handmade by me in my Devon workshop. Each one is unique & there will be small variations in colour, size & shape. They each have their own character & you will soon find that you have a favourite. They have been made to be used in place of glass tumblers & are light & translucent, but they have many other uses as well. I use one for my toothbrush in the bathroom, others for holding my pens, pencils & brushes in my office. I have been making pots for over 50 years & I have never tired of the challenge of making them. I am still learning & I hope that I always will. All the pots are stamped with my makers mark & a year mark. Over recent years several of my pots have appeared at auction & the stamps have been a great help in identifying their provenance. As my pots are made entirely by hand there will be variations in size. Some will be a bit wonky as the porcelain becomes soft during the firing & can warp a little. The pots sometimes come out of the kiln a little less round than they were when they went into it! There are occasional small fissures in the bases of pots & around the join where the handle meets the body beneath the glaze.
