He crafts all his art & draws his inspiration from his home in Salem, MA-where he has lived & worked his whole life. This sun face is made from perma stone-similar to ceramics but harder & more durable. The face is painted in muddy maroon & the visage has a peaceful & calming joyful expression. The maroon sunburst behind the face represent the many rays of God's love. The edges are beveled in shining bronze & behind the face is spackled in bronze & gold. There is a smooth layer of glaze applied which shines like the sun. It's all done by hand & each one is a unique, one-of-a-kind creation It measures 3 1/4 around & about 1/2 at it's highest. It's solid. Please also see the artist's initials stamped by Rick into the back -his unique signature & authenticity.
