This is a vintage Japanese serving bowl from the Tyoko sumo arena Kokujikan. Based on the style of this piece, it is likely dated to the 1980s. This arena opened in 1985. The bowl is approximately 7 3/4 inches diameter & 2 3/4 inches tall. The piece is in very good vintage condition. Some light scuffs & wear on the bottom consistent with age & use.
