A patchwork textile piece with hand block printed & antique lace. This piece has antique lace rescued from a handkerchief & linen fabric which I block printed with linocut designs. The muted colours of pink, blue, brown & natural linen would fit in a country inspired interior but would also look pretty in a modern one. The patchwork combines pieces I have printed over the last few years & pieces from my collection of vintage fabrics. I aim to make pretty things, one square at a time! The patchwork is mounted on 20 cm square textured mpunt which is firm enough to stand on a shelf on its own or it can be framed. The patchwork itself is approx 15 x 15.5 cm at the widest points.
