A patchwork textile piece with embroidery, hand block printed & vintage fabrics. This piece has an embroidered tree inspired by a Japanese garden & has different fabrics with my hand block printed designs. The vintagey colours of pink, green, grey & soft brown would go in a country inspired interior but would also look pretty in a modern one. The patchwork combines pieces I have printed over the last few years & pieces from my collection of vintage fabrics. I aim to make pretty things, one square at a time! The patchwork is mounted on 21 cm square khadi paper which is firm enough to stand on a shelf on its own or it can be framed. The patchwork itself is approx 14 x 16 cm at the widest points.
