Stunning cup that will bring a smile to your lips as you sip. Wheel thrown, with added modern black & gold sunburst design. It was given a touch of gold in the 3rd & last firing. The bottom of the cup has my signature stamp & been sanded to a silky smooth texture that begs to be touched & assures counter-top surfaces will not be scratched. All my porcelain pieces go through a multi-step process; the clay begins wedged (kneaded), thrown on the wheel, trimmed on the wheel, hand pulled altered handle is applied, sunburst design carved with misma technique, bisque fired, glazed & glazed fired, painted with gold luster & fired one last time. My pieces are one of a kind, so what you see in the picture is what you would receive.
