Ceramic goblet adorned with spikes, Spiked pottery chalice, Vampire-style glass. Its exterior is adorned with spikes that appear more menacing than they truly are. The upper cup of this stoneware goblet is crafted on a potter's wheel, while the stem is also wheel-thrown & attached. The stem, which is hollow, provides strength & remains lightweight. All items are meticulously handmade in our workshop. We begin by shaping the clay on the wheel & allowing it to dry completely. The chalice undergoes a bisque firing, followed by the application of a gold & metallic glaze, & a final firing at high temperatures. Each piece features multiple glazes that enhance its color depth. This elegant ceramic goblet is an excellent choice as a special gift. It can also be used as a candle holder. For those who appreciate medieval, fantasy, & Viking aesthetics, it serves well as a mead goblet. Due to the entirely handmade process, each goblet varies slightly in shape & final glaze finish from those shown in the photos. All of our wares are microwave, oven, & dishwasher safe.
