Wall sculpture CLOUD_I_A is an abstract design that approaches the relation between human & machine, between feeling & artificial intelligence, between memory & cloud storage, between phisical & virtual connection. The art object itself is a combination of both worlds, all the elements are carved using a CNC machine while the assembling & finishes are applied by hand, ensuring that no two sculptures are exactly alike. The wood absorbs the dyes organically, resulting in a beautiful, unpredictable pattern. CLOUD_I_A embraces a raw, brutalist character, celebrating the material's natural texture & imperfection. Sustainable & eco-friendly: CLOUD_I_A is coated with water-based eco-friendly varnish so it can better resist to air humidity - Indoor use only! Fibreboard (also known as MDF) is made from wood scraps, sawdust, & waste fibres from other wood processing operations - this diverts what would otherwise be waste to landfills. This object is made to order so the images presented are often photos of pieces I made before. Each object is individually hand finished so please expect variations in texture & colors, in wood grain & knots. Wall hanging information: Suspension hardware (keyhole hanger) is installed on the back of the artwork & one set of screw & expanding anchor for wall hanging is included.
