Description
Blue glaze vase with pink dots. This is the perfect flower vase for smaller bouquets. Great anniversary or wedding gift! Get in touch if you would like the vase personalised with names, dates, or anything else at all. The vase is glazed in a blue glaze all over. The smooth texture of the glaze is gently broken up by raised dots on the surface. The glaze is a light blue colour & it breaks over the dots to reveal their pink colour. Due to the nature of the glaze & the making process no two pieces are exactly the same. It's worth pointing out that you might not receive the exact piece that's pictured, but it will certainly be one made with the same materials & specifications. This is a handmade item, starting with a lump of raw clay & thrown on the potters wheel in my studio in Canterbury, England. The whole process takes over a week & is completed by one person, me (Veronika). I use warm coloured stoneware clay & each piece I make is fired twice, with the top temperature reaching 1210o C. This ensures that the clay is vitrified & durable for everyday use.
