This opulent porcelain cup & saucer was produced by Sir James Duke & Nephews during the 19th century, circa 1862. Sir James Duke & Nephews produced high quality Etruscan ware, parian ware & porcelain from the Hill Pottery, Staffordshire, England. The pottery was formerly owned by Samuel Alcock & Co who ran the factory from 1828 - 1859. Sir James Duke & nephews ownership period was very short, from the year 1860 - 1863.
