This super cute ready-to-use little handmade origami paper lampshade provides a beautiful white, soft & cozy light to your nursery, boho home, beach house, rustic, modern house, caravan, or teens room. It is the perfect present for him or her & will be the best housewarming gift for a friend or family. It is handmade with 30 sheets of white, thick, translucent & strong parchment paper (160gr). Comes fully assembled & ready to use. You can choose from: a) A string light made with silver wire inside which works with 3 x AA batteries (not included). b) IKEA USB mini light Size length 3.9 Inches x width 3.9 Inches The pieces are assembled using the ancient Sonobe Japanese technique interlocking the hand-folded parchment paper, no other material has been used, no glue or fixings. Each piece is carefully folded & joined by hand. The design is based on the Sonobe module, a modern form of modular origami. The paper I use is very strong & of high-quality cut to size especially to build the lights & bought in Barcelona in one of the oldest stationaries in Europe. Shipping The shipment from Catalonia is made with the recommended material to maintain the integrity of the lamp. The parcel will be shipped within 4 days of the checkout, although I will try to send it as soon as possible. I ship all my items via recorded post with tracking number to ensure they arrive safely.
