Ercol furniture never goes out of style & that’s the mark of exceptional design, quality materials & superior craftsmanship. It’s as sought-after today as it was when it first came to market. This side table is a little taller than a regular coffee table, sitting on elegant, long, tapered beech legs. It was designed to be set beside a favourite chair or sofa but in a large, open plan space it can of course function as a central coffee table too. Made with a solid, ‘blond’ elm top, Ercol’s clean, unfussy design let’s the wood grain take centre stage. We love the soft edges of the Windsor tables that gently slope off. A useful, functional piece for today’s homes. This is an original, vintage piece that is ‘sold as seen’. It is in very good, used condition. We have thoroughly cleaned & polish this piece but have left the original finish well alone as it is in good condition. It is solidly made & sturdy with no wobbles & there are no signs of repair. There are some minor marks / scuffs to the top surface as you might expect, including what looks to be a small red ink spot. As you can see from our photos though this isn’t particularly noticeable & certainly doesn’t detract from the appeal of the table. The original Ercol maker’s sticker is still affixed to the table.
