Beautiful mid century double theatre seats from a theatre in Eastern France dating from the 1950s. The seats are in overall good original condition. There are some marks & imperfections as to be expected & a piece of veneer missing to the bottom of one of the seat backs, the seats have a lovely patina. The left hand seat has warped as we have tried to show in the photos. (We have held the seat down for the photo with weights) It is still working well & still fully usable it is just noticeable, we have adjusted the price to reflect this. The chairs have plywood seats & back, the closing mechanism works well. The seats have metal feet, painted wooden ends & painted wooden arm rests. The seats still have number plates on the bottom of the seats. The seats need to be attached to the floor for & are unstable on their own, we have added wooden batons for stability & for transporting them. Great as extra seating that does not take up much room or perfect for the hallway, a really great piece!
