THE CAVE - minimalistic yarn abstract wall art, japandi tapestry, textured fiber art in beige/ecru, neutral hand tufted wall hanging decor NOTE - this tapestry is made to order, due to a high demand during the busy festive season - please allow 8-10 weeks to create it. Minor changes may occur, as the item will be made on demand. The Cave - this minimalistic yarn tapestry was inspired is inspired by the caveformations. I created these structural forms using a specific textile hand creating technique called punch needle rug hooking, it's like a textured painting but made of cream yarn. The lower areas resemble rocks, while the striped part is a background, however it is only my initial connotation & as the form is very open - so can be the interpretation. COMPONENTS: The piece measures 80x60 cm (31,5x23,6 inches) & altough I had a horizontal position in mind when creating the tapestry - it can be hung up both in horizontal & vertical position - drop me a message which position would suit you best. I used linen canvas & blend of wool & acrylic beige/cream yarn. Made in a smoke-free enviroment.
