I am delighted to list this characterful Antique Wooden Stool. Originally from the France it was purchased here at an Antiques Fair. PLEASE NOTE: The other items in my photos are for display only & are not included in the price. This primitive stool is handmade without nails or screws & is worn & aged from use. The wood has a beautiful pale aged patina & is wonderfully tactile. The seat is very rustic & worn as are the legs but they are sound if a little uneven. It remains a sturdy piece with plenty of life left in it. There are numerous wood worm holes but these are old & have been treated. (Please see my photos in close up for more details). It measures 54 cm x 17.5 cm & stands at 32 cm high. It weighs just under 2.5 kg. It makes a charming little occasional table, bedside table or bathroom stool. It would also make the perfect seat for the little people in your life. Because of the size & weight of this item it will only be shipped with the UK & will be sent via Courier, hence the postage cost.
