This rustic desk is made with high quality & sustainably grown timber. We source all of our timber from our local sawmill. Our suppliers always guarantee their timber products are 100% FSC certified. The wood is kiln dried which eliminates any movement or warping / splitting like lesser quality types of wood such as scaffold boards. This ensures that your studio desk will last for years & years to come, even with daily use & heavy equipment loaded on it. Choosing measurements Firstly, we will need to know the dimensions for the keyboard you plan to use with your new studio desk. This will determine the size of the desk as well as the height of the keyboard tray compartment which will also affect the final height of the desk. Please make sure that when measuring the height of your device, the knobs & fader heads are included. Secondly, the height of the legs will be a very important factor to the final height of your desk! There is always a small compromise when it comes to height measurements for studio desks. 71cm height is the standard height for desk legs. This will provide a comfortable amount of leg room & a very comfortable height for playing the keyboard / synth. However, it also means that that the desktop where the typing keyboard & screen monitor are, will also be increased to a higher than standard height. The alternative is 60cm height legs. The lower legs will provide slightly less leg room but will also bring the desktop level to a more comfortable height for typing & screen monitor. The choice depends on how you would like to you use your studio desk! - 71cm legs - more comfortable playing. - 60cm legs - more comfortable typing. How to order You can choose the size of the desk you want & the type of legs from the drop down menu. The dimensions correspond to Width by Depth, followed by the type of legs. The industrial options cover the square, X shape, A shape, V Shape & Trapezium legs & the hairpin leg options cover just the hairpin legs. 60cm height legs are only available in hairpin legs & square legs. 60cm hairpin legs are the same price as the standard hairpin leg options. 60cm height square legs have to be custom ordered so they come at an additional cost.
