Description
An outstanding antique Irish linen table cloth from the Arts & Crafts period. The cloth has a deep border of beautifully worked cutwork embroidery to the edges & the center of the cloth is covered with well worked hand embroidery of flowers & eyelets. There are cartouches of needle lace set around the embroidered center of the cloth. The cloth came to me beautifully laundered & starched & has not been re laundered. There is one small mark to the centre of the cloth as seen in the last photo. The table cloth is in excellent condition & measures; 107 cm/ 42 inches square.
