Bar Neon Sign for home Bar this is a fantastic piece of Neon Art would look great in a home bar or kitchen diner. The signs are handmade in our workshop, note this is not a traditional blown neon sign but a flexible neon wire light that allows us to create many words & variations. The light is operated by a battery pack, please see images above & you can control the light whether this is continuous or flashing through the battery pack. Please look at the image of the battery pack before ordering, as there is a black clip. The clear extension is to give length between the end of the sign & the battery pack. When switched on the battery pack may emit a slight sound, which is due to operating frequency & inverter component design & is a normal phenomenon, not a quality problem & can be used safely & normally. Although each sign is tested before packaging, due to the neon wires fragile components if this does arrive not working (this may be due to pressure on the parcel during transit resulting in the wire short circuiting) there is an easy & safe way to fix this issue. The end of the wire just needs snipping with a sharp pair of scissors & rubber cap replacing. We create the neon light using 6mm clear acrylic, which can the be mounted to a wall with picture tacks or for a more permanent fixture you can choose to add stand off wall fixings for your item. The acrylic backing is cut from a 60 x 40cm sheet so the word will measure slightly smaller once cut. This will not change so if you have a longer word it will always be just less than 60cms. Please note this does not give off a very bright light during daylight, nor in bright studio lighting, it works brilliantly in low lighting & as a light feature in soft lighting. It is not meant to light a room during daylight hours.
