Exquisite antique twin-handled vase in hammered copper with brass decorative band, in the shape of an amphora. The bottom is stamped with a mark that reads Villedieu, indicating a small town in Northern France renowned for its copper manufacture. It dates from the early twentieth century. It is a rare & wonderful vase inspired by Arts & Crafts design, which has great decorative value, & would make for a great ornament. Please note that there is a dent towards the bottom of the vase, as shown in the pictures. It is in good vintage condition otherwise, & remains watertight.
