Lovely antique candlestick in cast brass in the shape of a cherub holding an ornate sconce with embossed decorative base. It bears no maker's mark, but dates from the early twentieth century, & is inspired by Rococo aesthetics. It is an elegant & collectable candle holder, which would stand out in any setting. It is in good antique condition, with normal signs of wear & use commensurate with age, including some lovely patina & a couple of spots of tarnish, contributing to its vintage charm. It remains structurally sound, & in perfect working order. It measures approximately H17cm x D10cm, & weighs around 380g. (Candle not included.)
