Stunning antique chamberstick in solid brass featuring a shuttle to adjust the height of the candle & remove the end. Its features are consistent with British manufacture, & dates from the Georgian period. A very collectable object, this chamberstick remains functional, & would make for a wonderful ornament. There is some deformation & a few dings to the brass, as shown in the pictures, but this chamberstick is in good antique condition otherwise, being structurally sound & in good working order. The shuttle is also fully functional; it moves up & down without any issues. It measures approximately H11cm x D15cm (D17cm including the handle), & weighs approximately 245g. (Candle not included.)
