Stunning antique chamberstick in solid brass with frilled egdes & elegant handle. It was made by the renowned British manufacturer Joseph Sankey & Sons, & bears the design number 282456, which was registered in 1896. An exquisite example of arts & crafts design, this chamberstick is very collectable, & would stand out in any setting. The chamberstick is in good vintage condition overall, with normal signs of wear & use commensurate with age, including some lovely patina from over a century of use. It remains structurally sound, & in perfect working order. It measures approximately D14cm x W18cm (including the handle) x H6cm, & weighs around 210g.
